Pivora PDF processes PDF documents and images on your device. This policy describes what the Android app does with files and device features.

Who we are

Pivora PDF is a local PDF utility. The developer does not operate a first-party cloud that receives your documents.

Data processed on your device

  • Documents and PDFs you pick, share into the app, or generate. Working copies stay in app-private folders.
  • Photos you choose through the system picker, or capture with the camera for Scan to PDF.
  • Camera is used only when you start Scan to PDF.
  • OCR uses Google ML Kit on the device for Latin-script text only. Arabic OCR is not supported.
  • Language, theme, and recent-file paths stay in local app storage.

Local PDF processing versus Google services

Core PDF tools run locally after install because fonts are bundled. OCR uses an on-device ML Kit model. Google Play services may process diagnostic or service data according to Google’s policies. Pivora PDF does not send PDF contents to a Pivora PDF server.

This app does not claim to be fully offline or “100% on-device for everything.”

Data that may leave the device

  • When you share or open a file, the app you choose receives that file.
  • Google Play services / ML Kit may contact Google for library or device-service purposes.

Advertising

This release does not include an advertising SDK and does not read the advertising ID. Later versions may include ads or third-party ad services. If that happens, those services may process advertising or device identifiers and related technical data. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on the implementation and your device settings. This policy and Play Data Safety will be updated before that release.

Paid features and in-app purchases

This release does not include Google Play Billing, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Later versions may offer optional paid tools, one-time purchases, or subscriptions through Google Play. Payment would be handled by Google Play. This policy will be updated before those features ship.

Permissions

  • CAMERA is used for Scan to PDF only. Camera hardware is not required to install the app.
  • The app uses system pickers and does not request broad photo, video, or audio library access.
